Wow, finally can squeeze some time for Part 2, been extremely busy in previous 2 weeks, trunk show and trunk show, non stop working and facing a lot of
crisis in my career, kind of tough... but anyway, hope the good luck will soon come and
rescue me from "the Devil wears
Prada",
haha.
Day 6 - El
NidoIt's a horrible start, we hired a "boat" from Port Barton to El
Nido, 6am in the morning...
The worst was we haven't packed our stuff the night before, we woke up at 5 to pack our stuff in complete darkness, no candle, no torch, what we've got was the display light from my mobile phone, can you believe it?
We had sands all over our bodies,
disgusting. Janice and Drew got into the sea last night... obviously cos Drew got really pissed and threw Jan into the sea on their way back to the cottage... what's a nasty "couples". And they jumped on my bed without drying themselves up... I was in the middle... I hate the feeling of
getting soaking wet.
The boat trip to El
Nido was no doubt my worst experience ever in my life, no food, no water, no toilet for 6 hours, and water splashing on my face like every 5 sec, everything got soaking wet, 6 hour.
Finally we arrived El
Nido at around 12 something in the afternoon, without thinking, we went to the nearest hotel, we didn't bother to look for a cheap one... we were all so wet and what we want was just a hot shower, that's all. We went to the one called "El
Nido Beach Resort", 3500P per night, quite expensive compared with the one which me and Andrew stayed after Jan's left...
Again, there's no ATM on the island, we had no cash, no money, we were all broke. Good that the "Art Cafe" provided cash
withdrawal from credit card, which saved us from the rest of the trip...
Basically, we stayed in the "resort" for the whole day, watching 'King Kong", the new version. No no no, we got on the boat again to see the sunset, can't believe we go on the boat again after such a terrible exp just pasted this morning.
Today was the Korea Day, so the owner of the resort treated us free dinner, it's good, especially under the money situation like us.
Drew didn't go out tonight. Me and Jan went to Rick Son cafe for drinks and snacks, live band, cold beer, brilliant.
Day 7 - El
NidoAnother early day, we joined the tour A, went to
Miniloc Island, Large and Small Lagoons, and so and so,
snorkeling and
snorkeling. It's fun... been swimming whole day long. Needless to say, we bumped into Luke and
Sherence again.
The Tour A was great, I was sort of addicted to
snorkeling, I felt like a shark swimming in the ocean,
haha.
The boat trip was quite long, from 9am till 5 in the afternoon, exhausted.
Tonight, we went to
Balay Tubay after dinner, from tonight onwards, we spent every single night in
Balay Tubay drinking and drinking.
It's the last night of Janice in El
Nido, we stayed till around 1, I think, she's heading back to Porto
Princesa tomorrow morning...
The story continues in Part 3. Something more exciting is coming up soon...
Haha
